Refund policy

RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

You have 14 days to change your mind, without having to give us any reason. On top of that, for deliveries in Italy, the European Union and Monaco, if the size is not right you can exchange it once for free within 30 days.

FREE SIZE EXCHANGE

For orders delivered in Italy, the European Union and Monaco, within 30 days of delivery you can exchange each product once for a different size of the same product, free of charge. Write to claims@tekdogwear.com with your order number, the product and the size you need.

We ship the new size first, at our expense. You then have 14 days from receiving it to send the original back to us, unused and with its tags attached, using the return label we send you. If the original does not reach us within that period, we will charge you the price of the second item.

For orders delivered to other countries, a size exchange is also possible: write to us, and we will ship the new size once the original has reached us. In this case the shipping costs in both directions, and any duties and taxes, are paid by you.

An exchange depends on the new size being available. If it is not, you can choose to wait for it or to return the product for a refund under the right of withdrawal below.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The 14-day withdrawal period starts on the day you, or a third party designated by you, take physical possession of the goods. If your order is delivered in several parcels, the period starts when you receive the last parcel. For pre-order products, the period starts when you receive the goods, not when you place the order.

To exercise your right of withdrawal it is enough to send a clear statement to claims@tekdogwear.com, stating your order number and the products you wish to return. You may use the model withdrawal form set out at the end of this page, but you are not required to do so.

To meet the deadline it is sufficient that your communication is sent before the 14-day period expires.

After notifying us of your withdrawal you have 14 days to send the products back to:

The direct cost of returning the goods is yours. For shipments sent from outside the European Union, any re-import customs charges are also yours: please state clearly on the shipping documents that the goods are being returned.

CONDITION OF RETURNED PRODUCTS

Please return the products in the condition you received them, with the original tags and labels attached and, where possible, in their original packaging.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. In practice: you may try the product on your dog as you would in a shop, but a garment that has been used outdoors, is soiled or damaged, or has had its tags removed may be accepted with a refund reduced in proportion to the loss in value.

REFUND

We will refund all payments received, including the standard delivery costs of the original shipment, within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.

The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed. You will not be charged any fee for the refund.

If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard service, we will refund the amount corresponding to standard delivery.

Any duties and taxes paid to customs in your own country cannot be refunded by us. Many customs administrations operate a refund procedure in the case of returned goods: we suggest you enquire with the competent authority.

FAULTY PRODUCTS

If the product you receive is faulty or does not conform to the contract, the above does not apply: the two-year legal guarantee of conformity applies instead. In that case the cost of returning the goods is ours. Write to claims@tekdogwear.com enclosing photographs of the defect.
